Join EBC for Our Group Introduction to Vision Loss – A 12-Class Series

Our class instructors are Earle Baum Center staff who have experience working with both individuals and support groups for people with sight loss.

Our group classes are designed for people experiencing sight loss and we introduce information and techniques that allow you to lead an active life.

The class continues for 12 weeks, and we meet once per week on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PDT.

We cover a variety of topics. Each week we introduce a new concept and share information that includes techniques and equipment to use in the areas of cooking, cleaning, laundry, and technology.

We present labeling foods, medications, and other personal items. We introduce you to orientation and mobility (getting around), travel, social skills, adaptive phones, and in-home safety.

Class fee is $300 for the series of 12 class meetings. We invite you to join us.
